Membership

AISNA welcomes new members from Italy and from all over the world. Members should be scholars, teachers, graduate students, or individual with a proven scholarly or professional interest in American literature, history, society, and culture.

Subscription

Send your application to the Secretary with a CV and two letters by AISNA Members. Letters of Introduction by other scholars will also be considered by the Board. Members are approved in the course of the yearly AISNA Meeting. The membership fee for 2007 is 50.00 €. Payment methods are described below.

AISNA membership is for a calendar year. It includes membership in the European Association for American Studies and the International American Studies Association. Members will receive the AISNA Newsletter, the RSA Journal and the Biennial Conferences Proceedings. They will also be included in the Association e-mailing list circulated by the AISNA secretary.

Soci residenti in Italia

• I soci residenti in Italia possono versare la quota annuale ricorrendo a tre sistemi diversi:
  • il sistema più sicuro: bonifico bancario sul conto corrente AISNA. È necessario disporre delle coordinate bancarie di quest'ultimo e ovviamente del tempo necessario a recarsi in banca ed effettuare la transazione. Le coordinate del conto sono le seguenti:

  • il sistema più comodo: un normale assegno del proprio libretto personale, intestato al tesoriere Aisna [Giuseppe Lombardo] e da inviare all'indirizzo di questi (meglio il recapito universitario: Prof. Giuseppe Lombardo,Università di Messina, Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia, Località Annunziata, 98100 Messina) per raccomandata o per posta prioritaria. Sul recto dell'assegno è necessario apporre manualmente la dicitura "NON TRASFERIBILE" e provvedere a sbarrare l'assegno stesso mediante una doppia diagonale tracciata da angolo ad angolo. Il tesoriere provvederà a versare l'assegno sul Conto AISNA aperto presso la filiale Carige di Messina.
  • il sistema più farraginoso: assegno bancario circolare non trasferibile da inviare al tesoriere AISNA con le modalità di cui in "b". Bisognerà comunque recarsi presso la banca nella quale è domiciliato il proprio conto corrente personale.
