Directions

Registration and the conference will begin on Thursday morning in Aula San Domenico, in the building at Piazza Tredici Giugno 2. The university’s offices, as well as some of the classrooms where the panels will be held, are located in Piazza Galeotto Marzio 9 (200 m from the San Domenico). Details on the classrooms will be available when there is a final schedule.

By Car

Narni is easily reached by car from anywhere in Italy. From Rome, It can take as little as 45 minutes from the city’s Northern neighborhoods.

The A1 thoroughfare can be used from North or from South, exiting at Orte, and driving about ten minutes up the hill to Narni.

Parking inside the city walls is not allowed to non residents, except for a few parking spots that are clearly marked and can be paid with coins or cards. The biggest parking area is about a mile before the historical center, in Via del Suffragio, from which a lift or stairs can be taken to reach the university, in Piazza Galeotto Marzio.

By Train

There is a train station, named Narni-Amelia, which can be reached by train in about 50 minutes from Rome Termini by Trenitalia. A shuttle connects the train station to the city center in about ten minutes.

When purchasing a train ticket to Narni, the railway company may indicate Narni Amelia and Narni Centro as destinations. Please mind that there is no railway station in Central Narni, the only station is Narni Amelia: if you buy a ticket to Narni Centro it means that the company provides a ticket for the shuttle service to the historical centre.
